  3. Add more fiber to your diet. When yearning to lose weight, it’s highly advisable to add more fiber to your diet. Fiber aids in weight loss, as well as in digestion and flushing out of toxins from your body. Fruits and vegetables are high in fiber, especially those fruits whose “skin” can be eaten (apples and pears).
  4. Water aids in weight loss! Drinking water is also one of the most popular and proven effective way of losing weight. It is for this reason that drinking water is included in this lose weight plan. Here is a fact: drinking water satiates your stomach for a longer period. So you feel fuller for a longer period, and you are less likely to give in to food cravings. What you can do is to always bring a bottle of water ANYWHERE you go. And of course, drink a glass of water before and after eating!
  5. Exercise and sweat out. Work out in every opportunity you have. Stick to a consistent exercise plan. Run for an hour thrice a week, preferable every morning. Also include walking in your daily regimen. Brisk walking of about 10- to 20 minutes daily can help considerably. Do not let a day pass without sweating out! It’s a mortal sin for a “lose weight plan”. Whatever you do, always try to insert a sweat-out plan.
  6. Outdoor activities. Instead of lying on your couch eating a bag of chips while watching television, why not try a nature trip? Go outside, and walk along the seashore. Any activity will always be better than just lying on the couch doing nothing productive. You can also try camping with your family or friends, and for once, break free from technology. Temporarily enjoy how it feels to be outside watching the skies, without your gadgets in sight.
  7. Try green tea. It has been proven, that aside from eliminating toxins in your body, green tea also helps in regulating your weight. So why not try a sip of green tea during your office break?
  8. Purchase a jumping rope, and try it! Skipping rope is one of the best and cheapest ways to lose weight. You only need an unused rope, and skip until you start sweating buckets. When you skip rope, every part of your body is moved and exerts effort. And because of this, a jumping rope will certainly be included in any “lose weight plan”!
  9. Try out a new sport. It can be basketball or swimming, or you can also try lawn tennis and wall climbing. Whatever you choose, keep in mind that you should be sweating when you do such activities. Make it a point to play at least once or twice a week. Also encourage your friends to play with you. Having them around as your “playmates” will make any sport enjoyable and fun, thus, the chances of you sticking to that sport is real high! Sports that move every part of the body are more preferable for they burn more calories and fat. These sports include badminton, lawn tennis, dancing, swimming, etc.
  10. Keep the company of health-conscious people! Being with health-conscious people can highly influence your thinking and lifestyle. Be vulnerable to their passions and goals. Ask advice from them. Or better yet, consider making and executing a “lose weight plan” with these individuals. Two heads are better than one they say.
